Windmill Hill Greenhouse is a family-owned and operated business with over 40 years of experience in Laramie, WY. After growing up in his family’s greenhouse in Rhode Island, Benny moved to Laramie in 1972 to attend the University of Wyoming. Seeing potential in the previously abandoned 1890s Windmill Ranch, which had become a junkyard next to his family home, he transformed the land into a series of greenhouses that eventually grew into a successful business. Now there are 8 greenhouses constantly packed with a wide range of products including annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, evergreens, potted plants, hanging baskets, and unfilled decorative pottery. The extensive selection also includes fertilizers, insecticides, compost, and potting soils, as well as seeds in the spring to help your garden flourish.
